2011 Fall Workshops

This year, Boston GLOW is sponsoring a series of workshops at 3 high schools in the Boston area - focused on the importance of developing a written voice to further personal growth.  The goals of these workshops are to supplement existing programs within the targeted schools to acheive the following: 

• Provide more individualized attention and encouragement for teen writers
• Demonstrate that commitment to writing creates a pathway to communication that will translate into personal, individualized success and empowerment
• Connect 10-20 teens per workshop with 2-4 authors, leaders, and mentors who can demonstrate how writing has helped them succeed
  
• Promote and answer questions about the IGNITE Change essay contest
